Phase 1 Announcement (Registration & Team Validation) Teams submit members’ details for point verification. 10th March 2025
Phase 2 Problem Statement & Research Submission Provide prompts (e.g., “Design a community space for trauma healing” or “Create a symbolic monument for collective memory”).

Teams submit a 1000-word research brief outlining their focus.

Acceptance of Concepts & Second Cycle modification. 		14th April 2025

Phase 3 Design Development Ideation, prototyping, and refining solutions (physical/digital models, blueprints, or service designs).
Phase 4 Submission & Judging Deliverables:
  • Design portfolio (sketches, 3D renderings, materials).
  • 1000-word rationale connecting their work to Lebanon’s post-war context.
  • Optional: Physical prototype or digital walkthrough.

Phase 5 Exhibition & Yearbook Feature Top 3 teams present at a university exhibition.

All submissions compiled into a booklet titled “The 1st BAU DESIGN NARRATIVES STUDENTS’ COMPETITION”.
