Dr. Dalal Hammoudi, BPharm, MSc, PhD - Common Year Coordinator | Academic Quality Department, QU Health | Vice President for Medical and Health Sciences Office

I am pleased to serve as a guest editor for this issue of the BAU HWB Journal. I am a pharmacist and microbiologist, and currently hold the position of Common Year Coordinator at the Academic Quality Department, QU Health, Qatar University, since January 2023. Prior to this position, I was an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and had over 15 years’ experience in academia, mainly at the School of Pharmacy, Lebanese International University, as Department Chair and Associate Dean for Assessment, and served on different tasks related to assessment, accreditation, engagement, project management, and professional development, and research. My research interests include health education and antimicrobial resistance, with published papers, book chapters, and regional/international conference participations. I am a member of several professional societies including the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Women in pharmacy Science and Education (FIP-WiSE), the FIP Antimicrobial Resistance commission, and the American Society for Microbiology (ASM). I am involved in different health education research projects including AI in health education, mental health in academia, and professionalism among health professions education students.
