Abstract
The study aimed to know the psychological and social repercussions of climate change among a sample of residents of Akkar Governorate in northern Lebanon in light of the variables of gender, economic status, and age group. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach using the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data and information. The sample numbered 380 individuals, distributed according to the variables of gender, economic status, and age group, and they were chosen randomly. The sample members, residents of Akkar Governorate, feel a moderate degree of environmental anxiety and the psychological repercussions of environmental changes. The results showed that there were varying degrees among the sample members regarding the psychological repercussions of climate change to a high degree, others to a moderate degree, and some to a low degree. It has also been shown that they suffer from high psychological repercussions in terms of constant fear of infectious diseases spread today due to pollution, fear of losing food resources due to the climate changes we are witnessing, especially weather conditions, and constant fear of contracting a disease or epidemic spread due to climate change and the spread of pollution. It was also shown that there are fundamental differences with statistical significance at the level of the psychological and social repercussions of climate change due to the gender variable (males, females) in favor of females. There are fundamental differences indicative of the level of psychological and social repercussions of climate change due to the age group variable (adolescents, adults) in favor of adolescents.

الملخص (Abstract in Arabic)
يشهد العالم اليوم تغي ا رت غير مسبوقة على مستوى المناخ البيئي. فهي أحدث تأثي ا رت وتبدّلات في سلوك الإنسان وصحته النفسية والجسدية. وقد طالت جميع الفئات العمرية بالمجتمع. هذا ما توصلت إليه نتائج د ا رسات سابقة عديدة التي أشارت الى أن التغي ا رت المناخية الحاصلة سببت حالات من الاكتئاب والضيق والإجهاد والقلق البيئي والخوف من المجهول. نذكر من هذه الد ا رسات د ا رسة كل من نجلاء عبداللطيف وآخرون ) 2018 (، ود ا رسة ريهام محيى الدين ) 2023 (. كما أشار بعض المفكرين في علم النفس السريري أن تغير المناخ أدى الى الميل للعدمية بمعنى فقدان الإيمان بأي معنى للحياة بمستويات غير مسبوقة. إضافة" الى ظهور آثار نفسية متمثلة بالشعور باللامبالاة والاهت ا زز العاطفي والتقلبات الم ا زجية الحادة. في إطار ما سبق ذكره، نطرح إشكالية وجود مثل هذه التداعيات والتأثي ا رت النفسية والاجتماعية على المجتمع اللبناني عامة"، والمجتمع العكاري )محافظة عكار( خاصة". وتتحدد بشكل خاص على عينة محددة تؤخذ عشوائيا" لاستطلاع التأثي ا رت وتحليلها في ظلّ متغير النوع )ذكور، إناث( والحالة الإقتصادية )متوسطة، مرتفعة، منخفضة( والفئة العمرية )م ا رهقين، ا رشدين(. على مستوى الأدوات، سيتم بناء إستبانة مكونة من فق ا رت موزعين على محاور تشمل تداعيات نفسية واجتماعية قد تكون موجودة لدى أف ا رد العينة حيث سيتم تنفيذ د ا رسة استطلاعية قبلية ليتم تحديدها وتنظيمها بشكل دقيق اعتمادا" على أرض الواقع المعاش نتيجة التغي ا رت المناخية.
