Abstract

Lambeaux writen by Charles Juliet is the result of a trauma in his early infancy. A month after his birth, he is separated from his mother interned in a psychiatric hospital after a suicide tentative. His biological father entrusts him to a family who will love him and raise him like their own. When he becomes an adult he decides to write his biological mother’s biography with his imagination because he had not enough information about her life and his autobiography bind to his adoptive mother. Writing becomes his resilience. Two people help him to achieve his goal: his adoptive mother and his French teacher who become resilience tutors. To improve his writing, the author reads French writers looking for words he can use in his own work. Lambeaux is finally the re-creation of the biological mother and her son as a writer.

French Abstract

Lambeaux de Charles Juliet est né d’un traumatisme. Un mois après sa naissance, le narrateur est séparé de sa mère internée dans un hôpital psychiatrique après une tentative de suicide. Son père biologique le confie deux mois plus tard à une famille de paysans qui l’élèveront avec amour. Devenu adulte, il décide d’écrire la biographie de sa mère biologique par le biais de son imagination- à cause d’un manque d’informations suffisantes- et son autobiographie liée à la vie de sa mère adoptive. L’écriture sera sa résilience. Deux personnes l’aideront à réaliser son projet : sa mère adoptive, premier tuteur de résilience et son professeur de français, second tuteur de résilience, tous deux points d’appui affectif dans le processus de résilience. Pour améliorer son écriture, l’auteur lit les œuvres des écrivains français et s’imprègne de leurs mots qu’il réinvestit dans ses propres écrits. Enfin, Lambeaux devient une re-création de la mère biologique et du fils comme écrivain.
